Industrial Liquid Petroleum Gas is used as fuel for gas barbecue grills and gas cooktops and ovens, for gas fireplaces, and in portable heaters. In Europe, LPG water heaters are common. LPG stands for liquid petroleum gas and Industrial Liquid Petroleum Gas is used for explaining the two great parts of a light hydrocarbon family called NGLS which stands for liquid natural gases: Propane (C₃H₃) and Butane (C₄H₁₀).
